Sara Fragomeni – CIU Soccer

Sports Mentor
From the soccer pitch to academic achievements and diverse professional roles, my journey embodies a passionate pursuit of excellence. I am dedicated to empowering athletes to surpass their goals on and off the field, offering unwavering support and a listening ear. With a blend of athletic insight, academic rigor, and practical expertise, I strive to ensure each individual reaches their full potential with unwavering confidence and steadfast determination.

I am Sara, a dedicated athlete and sports mentor with a passion for soccer that has shaped my life both on and off the field. My journey in athletics began at an early age, and since turning 16, I have played for SuperNova Academy, where my dedication and hard work were recognized with captaincy in my final year, MVP awards, and a soccer scholarship to Columbia International University (CIU), from which I graduated in May 2023. At CIU, I was known for my versatility, playing multiple positions including center back, left fullback, and left outside midfield. My fitness level, dedication to constantly learning and growing, defensive prowess, and vision on the field allowed me to start and play a full 90 minutes in almost every game.

My consistent performance contributed significantly to our team’s success. Beyond the field, I have coached younger athletes and worked as a recreational coordinator for a soccer club, enriching my experience and deepening my understanding of the sport. Transitioning from player to mentor, I continue to guide and develop young athletes, instilling in them the importance of perseverance, hard work, and sportsmanship. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and inspiring the next generation of athletes to excel and grow both on and off the field while continuing to grow as an athlete and an individual.
