Prince Solanki – Black Belt Dan 1 Judo

Sports Mentor
Dedicated to Elevate the Game.

My name is Prince Solanki, born in New Delhi, India. Throughout my life, I’ve been very passionate about sports and how it can change lives. I’m a Black Belt Dan 1 in Judo. I’ve played judo for 14 years and then shifted to be a Judo coach while working with The Judo Federation of India for four years as a technical official. Judo has taught me the art of how to get back up, no matter how many times I fall. It is a lesson that goes beyond the mat that is to be resilient whether it’s in sports, school, work or in life. As time went by, I kept on learning various sports to improve myself and added Volleyball, Soccer, Shot put, Tug of war, Wrestling, and Yoga to the list, and I am still making sure I won’t stop here.

Throughout my journey As a High school Physical Education teacher for Grades 1 – 12, I have realised how important sports are when you are a child. I have been recognized for my dedication and commitment to improving physical performance and the overall health of others near me.

To Pursue my passion and learn more about sports, I moved to Canada to pursue my sports management post-degree diploma. With my love for sports, I share my knowledge and experience with athletes by combining different sports to support their Holistic development.

I hold a BSc in Physical Education, Health Education, and Sports (2014-2017) and a second bachelor’s in physical education (2018-2020). I also earned a Diploma in Yoga Vidya (2019-2020) and am currently pursuing a post-degree Diploma in Sports Management from Camosun College, which is scheduled to be completed in December 2024. Additionally, I am working towards certifications as a personal trainer and nutritionist through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).
