Olivia Kaiser – Team Sask Volleyball
Born and raised amidst the sporting culture of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, my journey into athletics began with a passion for hockey, softball, and lacrosse before discovering my true love: volleyball. From the moment I first stepped onto the court in grade 9, I knew volleyball was my calling. Throughout high school, I played competitively for both my senior team and the Junior Huskies club, achieving success year after year with multiple medal-winning seasons.
My dedication to volleyball extended beyond high school into summers spent with Team Sask, resulting in a historic bronze medal at the national tournament—an achievement that hadn’t been reached by the women’s team from Saskatchewan before. Transitioning seamlessly into collegiate volleyball at Lakeland College, I found immediate success, winning the provincial championship and making history with a gold medal at nationals in Victoria, BC, during my freshman year. Despite facing challenges in subsequent seasons, including a toxic team environment that led me to transition away from the sport prematurely, my resilience and passion for mentorship have only grown stronger.
Today, I draw from my extensive athletic career, marked by triumphs and personal growth, to inspire and guide young athletes. My journey is a testament to perseverance in the face of adversity, and I am dedicated to helping others navigate their own paths to success both on and off the court.
