Sports Mentor
"Experience is a hard teacher because it gives the test first, the lesson afterward." - Vernon Law (Former Pirates pitcher)

My name is Nik Cardinal, born and raised in Bonnyville, Alberta. I grew up playing a variety of sports which included AA Hockey and Baseball. I have always had a deep love for the game of baseball. I became motivated to pursue my athletic career after seeing my older brothers compete at a high level. I participated in travel baseball with the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Academy during my high school years. I was recruited to play baseball at Fresno State University (Division 1) after playing junior college ball in Arizona and California. I signed a professional baseball contract to advance my career after having a great college career. After spending a season playing in Detroit, I took my talents abroad. I participated in the Dutch professional league last year. I served as the pitcher coach at Allan Hancock College in California for the previous two years.
