Career USports Football Coach including 10 years as Head Football Coach at St. Francis Xavier University. In total has coached 36 years of USports Football at a number of Canadian Universities. Also coached USports Wrestling for 10 seasons. John enjoyed a successful football playing career with the Acadia Axemen and was a member of the 1979 Vanier Cup Championship Team. Earned a wide range of team and personal accomplishments but always took more pride in accomplishments of his players. John’s teaching and coaching is a lifelong passion for him, and he still serves as assistant coach with the St. F.X. X-Men.
