Sports Mentor
We may crack but we don’t crumble… Tuff Cookies.

Sports have been a transformative force in my life, shaping my identity and resilience. They kept me grounded and out of trouble. My athletic journey began with soccer, which I played from grade 6 to grade 10 (ages 11-15), but by age 13, basketball became my true passion. I dedicated myself fully to the sport, with the goal of earning a college scholarship and competing at the highest level. In my junior year of high school, I faced a major setback. On December 4th, 2015, I fractured my right tibia during a critical game. After a long, seven-month recovery, I returned to the court only to re-injure the same leg in my second game back with AAU team UPLAY. This time, I underwent surgery to insert a metal rod for stability.

Determined to continue my basketball journey, I accepted a scholarship to Rocktop Academy in Philadelphia, where I completed my high school education. I then attended GTA Prep in Mississauga for a post-grad year, regaining my strength and confidence. This led to a scholarship at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, where I balanced academics and athletics. During my time there, we achieved two winning seasons, secured conference titles, and made NCAA March Madness appearances. In May 2020, I fractured my left tibia during a training session, a moment that tested my faith and determination. Guided by Jeremiah 29:11, I viewed it as an opportunity for growth, not defeat. That summer, I transferred and accepted a scholarship to the University of British Columbia (UBC), where I earned a degree in Psychology with a focus on sport psychology and a minor in kinesiology. After graduation, I signed my first professional basketball contract with Malahide Basketball Club in Dublin, Ireland, while pursuing an MBA. My ultimate goal is to open an offseason training facility to help athletes overcome setbacks and reach their full potential.
