Athletes United academic advisors are here to provide guidance and support for students ages 10+ with their academic challenges.
We not only provide advice, but we establish plans for their educational pursuits by providing direction and assistance on how to achieve their dreams.
Athletes United provides students with a wide range of high school guidance and university/college admissions advisory services for first year applicants and transfer students. Additionally, Athletes United academic advisors follow and track the development through the student’s academic journey giving the caregivers/parents/students insight into future careers and possible opportunities.
Our academic services are designed to present the strengths and unique characteristics of each student. We offer university/college admissions advisory services based on individual needs. Our academic advisors can help with many aspects of enrolling as a first-year student or the transfer application process (interviews, common applications, essays, etc.). Additionally, advisors will guide the student on how to write personal statements, resumes, reference letters and help in preparing for admissions interviews via phone, or in-person meetings. Our Athletes United academic advisors can be there throughout these important educational processes to ensure that the student is confident in their academic choices and pursuits.

- Communicate with existing educational faculty to discuss educational/social and athletic adjustments if required
- Provide parents/caregivers with a macro perspective of the educational direction of the student.
- Conduct a university/college search for recommendation of students desired location
- Provide match of student profile to universities/colleges
- Provide details of university/colleges academic & athletic ratings.
- Select university/colleges and begin discussion on application process
- Conduct a thorough review of scholarship, financial aid and financial commitment requirements.
- Conduct review of resume, letters of recommendation etc.
- Discuss and apply interview technique to assist with maximizing acceptance
