“Thinking positively and confidently changed my life. If you stay consistent and work hard, you can be successful for a long time” - Eliud Kipchoge

My athletics started at a young age where I was a successful cross country runner and basketball player in a small town in Ontario called Elora. During my highschool years I competed at OFSAA back-back years coming top in Ontario for cross country. In the winter time I was the captain on my basketball team and eventually being a part of the first ever District title in school history. Post highschool I played varsity basketball at Fleming College and Camosun College competing in the CCAA. After a bad year of injuries and never getting back to full health I decided to take the year off and during that time I fell in love with endurance sports. I started to take it very seriously and progressed quickly, during my first year of races I came top in a few local Triathlons and eventually qualified for worlds in the Duathlon for 2025 in Spain. My goals for the next calendar year is to qualify for the Boston Marathon and the Ironman World Championships.

During High School I took Grade 13 to do a co-op and to continue my athletics. Looking back this was the best decision I’ve made because it helped me pick what I wanted to do in college and also gave me an extra year so I can develop more skills in basketball. My time spent in college was always school first and sports second, although basketball was important I was spending most of my days in the classroom because that’s where I needed to focus my attention. At Fleming I studied fitness and health promotion knowing eventually I’d wanna start my own business or be a coach and today I’m now coaching adults for Marathons/Triathlons with a company I started after getting certified to be an Ironman Coach. A few years later I went to Camosun College to further my education studying business but also wanted to join a strong CCAA team to take a crack at a national title. I do want to add that I might not have been the smartest student in the classroom but I can guarantee I was always working the hardest. My note for any athletes who find themselves struggling in the classroom is to ask questions and if you can hang back each class for a few extra minutes, do it! Luckily I’ve learned many things to help me succeed in the classroom and I’m happy to share.
