Kiley Hasenfratz – Mckendree University Hockey

Sports Mentor
At first, if you don’t succeed try, try again.

I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where I spent the majority of my time growing up and never really left until I decided that it was enough of Calgary: time to explore the world and chose to end down to the United States to pursue my education career along with my hockey career. Growing up with two older brothers my life was involved in competition and taught me how to fight my battles. I quickly learned that you can’t force something to happen because it will never get done right. If you take the time to sit back for a second and focus on little things it makes those bigger challenges a whole lot easier.

With an impressive 19-year tenure in hockey, I have cultivated a deep passion exceptional skill, and love for the sport. Currently playing at the university level, I demonstrate a high level of commitment and athleticism. My dedication doesn’t stop at hockey, I also excel in lacrosse which I only started playing during my freshman year of college, balancing both sports with remarkable discipline. Known for my motivation and drive, I consistently strive to achieve my goals. However, I also recognize the importance of focusing on the smaller details, understanding that these incremental steps are crucial for reaching greater milestones. This balanced approach not only highlights my strategic mindset but also my ability to adapt and persevere through various challenges.
