
Nick Hoyt – NBSBL All-Star
I grew up a multi-sport athlete, playing football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and was in dance class. Towards the end of high school decided I wanted to pursue baseball and went out west to Prairie Baseball Academy, a post-grad baseball program. After the year there I transferred to Lake -region State college where I received my associates degree and was tied for the team lead in homeruns. Over the next couple years, I went on to play at Okahoma Pan Handle State University, Plymouth State University, and Spring Arbor University in Michigan.
In 2021, I was voted a league all-star in the NBSBL in Canada for the Moncton Fishercats as a third-basemen.After Graduating I made the position change the convert to become a catcher and that summer in 2022 I got my first Professional opportunity as bullpen catcher with the Washington Wild things. In 2023 I played with Blacksox Pro Baseball In South Florida playing games every day of the year in independent pro baseball. In winter of 2023 It was my duty to catch a variety of different Major League pitchers to help them prepare for the upcoming season. In 2024 I went to MLB Partner Lesague Spring Training with the Tri-City- Valleycats. In summer of 2024 I was signed by Chatham-Kent Barnstormers of the Intercounty Baseball League.
