Sports Mentor
One thing that will for sure happen to you in sport is you’re going to be hit with adversity. Adversity is to me is an OPPORTUNITY for yourself to reach a whole new level. Adversity is sport is going to test you like you have never been tested before and it up to YOU on how you want to respond.

I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where my passion for sports began at a young age. Starting with hockey, I quickly developed a love for athletics that would shape much of my life. In grade 6, I embarked on a football career that would become a defining part of my journey.

During my early years, I played in the Niagara Minor Football Association from grades 6 to 8, honing my skills and dedication to the game. My high school years were spent at Saint Michael Catholic High School, making significant strides in both football and basketball. Over my four years at Saint Michael’s, I earned numerous awards for my contributions to both sports. During my time in high school didn’t come easy and I didn’t have the marks right away to go to university. At an early age I was hit with my first real shot of adversity and must figure out a way to have my goal of being a professional football player still come true.

My decision was to pursue my passion for sports management at Niagara College, earning an advanced diploma. Concurrently, I continued to play football and joined the Hamilton Hurricanes from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, I was honored to receive the Defensive Player of the Year award for my outstanding contributions to the team.

Seeking further academic and athletic challenges and finally achieving the mile stone of getting to university and playing football at an elite level. I enrolled at Queen’s University from 2018 to 2022, where I pursued an honors degree in economics with a minor in employee relations. Throughout my university career, I played football for the Queen’s Golden Gaels, achieving remarkable success. I was recognized as the Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2019 and again in 2022. In addition, I earned Second Team OUA honors in 2019 and First Team OUA honors in 2022, culminating in a Second Team All-Canadian award in 2022.
My dedication and performance on the field did not go unnoticed, as I was drafted 17th overall in the 2022 CFL Draft by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. From 2022 to 2024, I proudly wore the Tiger-Cats uniform, contributing my skills and leadership to the team.
